  99. I have had my W21AT for about 3 months...and I LOVE it...it's agreat
  100. radio...and there IS a SIMPLE (no hardware) MOD to increasing the band
  101. coverage to 50mhz-999.99mhz ... and there *IS* a think called RepeaterPower or something like that...I use it QUITE often...keep it on almost all of the time.. hit <F>-8 and look for something that says: rP in the lower right hand corner, then turn it on... when you go back into the mode, you should see blinking LOW power indicators.. every 1/10 of a second (or something) it's measuring the power it takes to receive from the repeater, and it only USES that much power in return. It's quite a handy feature..

  269. He had the guts to get on the net and say he paid $519 for an FT-530
  270. from a dealer.  Then his rig quit working and he got all geeked out and
  271. returned it for a Icom Wxyz dual-bander, instead of getting another 530.

  274. ripped off by the dealer as dealers can smell a new ham with cash for
  275. miles!

  291. Hey Randy!  I noticed you did not put a callsign on yer post, I have to
  292. ask if you realize you paid over $100 more than the best street price
  293. for the rig.  Some stores can smell a fresh tech-lite a mile away.

  312. I have a Yeasu 767GX about 6 years old.   It has recently taken on a new
  313. trick.  When I tune up using the MOX button in CW mode, It takes close to
  314. a minute to come up to power.  Even when the SWR meter reads 1.5 or less.
  315.  I tried it into a dummy load and get similar results although it seems
  316. not quite as bad.   I think the slow power up is affecting SSB also.  I
  317. can barely get thru many times.
  318. Any ideas on the cause???
